본 발명은 사용자에 의해 입력된 정보와 객체 기반 정보의 구성이 유사한 등록 이미지 또는 동영상 또는 이와 관련된 정보를 효과적으로 검색할 수 있는 객체 기반 영상 검색시스템에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 객체 기반 영상 검색시스템은, 등록된 이미지 또는 동영상을 특징점 및 특징점의 속성에 따라 객체 기반으로 분류 또는 클러스터링하여 사용자가 PC, 태블릿, 모바일 및 커넥티드 TV 등의 사용자 단말기를 통해 이미지, 동영상을 업로드하거나 또는 음성, 텍스트로로 검색하면 간단하게 매치되는 등록이미지 또는 등록동영상을 검색하여 사용자 단말기로 해당 결과 또는 관련 정보를 제공하는 것이다.
