Part of that growth and development was due to the devaluation made in 1954 with Adolfo Ruiz Cortines as President and the head of the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit from 1958 to 1968, Mr. Antonio Ortiz Mena, a postmortem winner in 2006 for The Senate of the Republic as "The Best Secretary of Finance we have had" and many of his ideas and programs were copied by other countries with less development than Mexico at the time (currently we have surpassed) such as South Korea, Thailand, Singapore And Australia.

Parte de ese crecimiento y desarrollo se debió a la devaluación que se hizo en 1954 con Adolfo Ruíz Cortines siendo Presidente y al titular de la Secretaría de Hacienda y Crédito Público de 1958 a 1968, el Lic. Antonio Ortíz Mena, premiado postmortem en 2006 por el Senado de la República como "El Mejor Secretario de Hacienda que hemos tenido" y muchas de sus ideas y programas fueron copiados por otros países con menor desarrollo que México en esos tiempos (actualmente nos han superado) como Corea del Sur, Tailandia, Singapur y Australia.
