Following the attack that took place on a Thalys train this summer, the Interior Ministers of nine Member States met in Paris on 29 August to discuss new security measures for cross‐border rail transport with a view to better anticipating, detecting and preventing acts of violence by radicalised individuals.

Tras el ataque que sufrió el Thalys en verano, los ministros de Interior de nueve Estados miembros se reunieron el 29 de agosto en París para abordar nuevas medidas de seguridad en el transporte ferroviario transfronterizo y así prevenir, detectar y luchar mejor contra acciones violentas de individuos radicalizados.
