The strategic objectives of Serbia in the field of human and minority rights and gender equality included the harmonization of the national legislation with European standards and the establishment of institutional mechanisms for exercising guaranteed rights; the balancing and equalization of the socio-economic standards of living of certain minority communities, primarily the Roma community, with that of the majority Serbian population; the achievement of a proportional participation by members of minorities in the judiciary, prosecutors’ offices, police, army and local self-government; the reduction of the social distance between minorities and the majority Serbian population; and the improvement of the situation of persons with disabilities.

Los objetivos estratégicos de Serbia en el ámbito de los derechos humanos y de las minorías y la igualdad entre los géneros incluían la armonización de la legislación nacional con las normas europeas y el establecimiento de mecanismos institucionales para el ejercicio de los derechos garantizados; el equilibrio y la igualdad del nivel de vida socioeconómico de ciertas comunidades minoritarias, sobre todo la comunidad romaní, con el de la mayoría de la población serbia; el logro de una participación proporcional de los miembros de las minorías en el poder judicial, las fiscalías, la policía, el ejército y el gobierno autónomo local; la reducción de la disparidad social entre las minorías y la mayoría de la población serbia, y una mejor situación para las personas con discapacidad.

Les objectifs stratégiques de la Serbie dans le domaine des droits de l’homme et des minorités et de l’égalité des genres englobent l’harmonisation de la législation nationale avec les normes européennes et la mise en place de mécanismes institutionnels pour l’exercice des droits garantis; l’amélioration et l’ajustement du niveau de vie socioéconomique de certaines communautés minoritaires, notamment les Roms, sur celui de la population serbe majoritaire; la participation proportionnelle des membres des minorités au système judiciaire, au ministère public, à la police, à l’armée et aux collectivités locales; le comblement du fossé social entre les minorités et la population serbe majoritaire; et l’amélioration de la situation des personnes handicapées.

Стратегические цели Сербии в области защиты прав человека и меньшинств и достижения гендерного равенства включают в себя приведение норм национального законодательства в соответствие с европейскими стандартами и создание организационных механизмов осуществления гарантированных прав; достижение сбалансированности и выравнивание социально-экономического уровня жизни определенных общин меньшинств, прежде всего общины рома, по уровню жизни большинства населения Сербии; достижение пропорционального участия членов общин меньшинств в деятельности судебной системы, прокуратуры, полиции, армии и органов местного самоуправления; сокращение социальной дистанции между меньшинствами и большинством сербского населения; и улучшение положения инвалидов.
