Darüber hinaus wird die Europäische Kommission ersucht, über die Durchführung der Programme zur Krebsfrüherkennung zu berichten, zu prüfen, inwieweit die vorgeschlagenen Maßnahmen wirksam sind, und die Notwendigkeit weiterer Maßnahmen zu erwägen. 2008 wurde ein erster Bericht über die Umsetzung der Empfehlung[4] veröffentlicht, der den Zeitraum 2003-2007 abdeckt.

It further invites the European Commission to report on the implementation of cancer screening programmes, to consider the extent to which the proposed measures are working effectively, and to consider the need for further action. In 2008 a first Implementation report on the Recommendation[4] was published, covering the period 2003-2007.

Az ajánlás felkéri továbbá az Európai Bizottságot, hogy tegyen jelentést a rákszűrési programok végrehajtásáról, vizsgálja meg a javasolt intézkedések hatékonyságának fokát és mérlegelje, szükséges-e további fellépés. 2008‐ban közzétételre került az ajánlás végrehajtásáról szóló első jelentés[4], amely a 2003–2007 közötti időszakra vonatkozott.
