ودون الخوض في تفاصيل أخرى سبق لوفد بلادي أن عبر عنها إبان اجتماعات المجلس وتدارسه للوضع الخطير الذي تشهده الأراضي الفلسطينية المحتلة، أود في ختام بياني هذا أن أعبر عن تقديرنا ودعمنا لاقتراح الأمين العام بإرسال قوة متعددة الجنسيات إلى الأراضي المحتلة بشكل فوري لمنع تفاقم الوضع ومراقبة وقف إطلاق النار وضمان انسحاب إسرائيل من كافة المناطق المحتلة، مما يهيئ المناخ المناسب لعودة المفاوضات.

Without going into further detail concerning the very serious situation in the occupied Palestinian territories, which our delegation has covered in previous meetings, I would like, in conclusion, to express our appreciation and support for the Secretary-General’s proposal concerning the immediate dispatch of a multinational force to the occupied territories to stop further deterioration, to monitor a ceasefire and to guarantee Israel’s withdrawal from all the occupied territories, which would lead to the establishment of a climate favourable to the resumption of negotiations.

Sin entrar en más detalles que nuestra delegación ya ha señalado en anteriores ocasiones y que tienen que ver con la grave situación en los territorios palestinos, quisiera para concluir expresar nuestro apoyo a la propuesta del Secretario General en cuanto al envío inmediato de una fuerza multinacional a los territorios ocupados a fin de impedir que la situación se siga deteriorando, verificar la cesación del fuego y garantizar la retirada israelí de todos los territorios ocupados, lo cual llevaría a la creación de un clima favorable a la reanudación de las negociaciones.

Sans entrer plus avant dans les détails en ce qui concerne la très grave situation dans les territoires palestiniens occupés, que notre délégation a déjà évoquée au cours des séances précédentes, je voudrais, pour terminer, exprimer notre appréciation et notre soutien à la proposition du Secrétaire général concernant l’envoi immédiat d’une force multinationale dans les territoires occupés pour arrêter toute nouvelle détérioration de la situation et pour surveiller un cessez-le-feu et garantir le retrait d’Israël de tous les territoires occupés afin de créer un climat favorable à la reprise des négociations.

Не вдаваясь в детали, касающиеся очень серьезного положения на оккупированных палестинских территориях, о которых наша делегация говорила на состоявшихся ранее заседаниях, я хотел бы в заключение выразить нашу признательность Генеральному секретарю за его предложение относительно немедленного направления многонациональных сил на оккупированные территории с целью положить конец дальнейшему обострению ситуации, осуществлять наблюдение за прекращением огня и обеспечить вывод израильских войск со всех оккупированных территорий, что привело бы к установлению климата, благоприятного для возобновления переговоров, и заявить о нашей поддержке этого предложения.
