104. Thus, from something corporeal such as the Heart of Jesus Christ with its natural meaning, it is both lawful and fitting for us, supported by Christian faith, to mount not only to its love as perceived by the senses but also higher, to a consideration and adoration of the infused heavenly love; and finally, by a movement of the soul at once sweet and sublime, to reflection on, and adoration of, the divine love of the Word Incarnate.

Y así del elemento corpóreo —el Corazón de Jesucristo— y de su natural simbolismo, es legítimo y justo que, llevados en alas de la fe, nos elevemos no sólo a la contemplación de su amor sensible, sino más alto aún, hasta la consideración y adoración de su excelentísimo amor infundido, y, finalmente, en un vuelo sublime y dulce a un mismo tiempo, hasta la meditación y adoración del Amor divino del Verbo Encarnado.

Dall’elemento quindi corporeo, che è il Cuore di Gesù Cristo, e dal suo naturale simbolismo è per noi legittimo e doveroso ascendere, sorretti dalle ali della fede, non soltanto alla contemplazione del suo amore sensibile, ma ancora più in alto, fino alla considerazione e all’adorazione del suo eccellentissimo amore infuso; finalmente, con un’ultima dolce e più sublime ascesa, elevarci sino alla meditazione e all’adorazione dell’Amore divino del Verbo Incarnato.
