Η μαλαισιανή ΜΚΟ Bersih (Συνασπισμός για Ελεύθερες και Δίκαιες Εκλογές), που προάγει τις διαφανείς, ελεύθερες και δίκαιες εκλογές, διοργάνωσε την εκδήλωση Bersih 2.0, που θα λάβει χώρα στις 9 Ιουλίου του 2011, κατά την οποία, οι υπερασπιστές του κινήματος θα κάνουν πορεία στους δρόμους της πρωτεύουσας Kuala Lumpur, πριν παραδώσουν μνημόνιο στον βασιλιά.
