Buses are the most common means of transport in Belize. Although there are bus stops and bus terminals in major cities and towns you only need to flag the bus down from wherever you are and it will stop to pick you up. In the major towns and cities, the buses are more frequent than in the smaller less populated areas where you can find buses running only once a day.
