That committee was then tasked with overseeing projects to develop these areas, and its plan of action provided for the implementation of road-building projects, the construction of buildings and the creation of health services and centres, schools, kindergartens and housing for the inhabitants of these areas, in addition to maintenance of some of these structures, the construction of hospitals fitted out with the most up-to-date equipment and instruments and the construction of civil defence centres and police stations. A esta comisión se confiaron las tareas de supervisión de los proyectos necesarios para desarrollar estas regiones. El plan de trabajo de la comisión incluyó la ejecución de proyectos específicamente relativos a carreteras y la construcción de edificios, servicios y centros sanitarios, escuelas, guarderías y viviendas para uso de los ciudadanos residentes en estas regiones, además del mantenimiento de algunas de estas estructuras, y la construcción de hospitales y su dotación de equipamientos modernos, como también centros de protección civil y comisarías de policía, todo ello para dotar a los residentes en estas regiones de todo tipo de comodidades y seguridad
