The follow-up of the news press about the Barranquilla Carnival shows a high percentage of articles that, since its proclamation as a Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO up to this moment, seems to probe or make public the interests and economical scandals that have been generated in the epicenter of the organizations that now run it.

El seguimiento de las noticias de prensa sobre el Carnaval de Barranquilla, muestra un alto porcentaje de artículos, que desde su proclamación por la UNESCO como Obra Maestra del Patrimonio Oral e Inmaterial de la Humanidad, hasta la fecha, parecen inclinarse a demostrar o ventilar públicamente los intereses y escándalos económicos que se han generado en el seno de las organizaciones que actualmente lo administran.
