Disclosed is a method for producing a silicone polyol, which has a normally-distributed molecular weight distribution, a low molecular dissociation, and a polysiloxane chain in a side chain, and which is suitable for use as a polyurethane resin starting material having little unreacted primary hydroxyl groups that have not reacted with lactones.
