c/ Når USA har ratificeret, accepteret, godkendt eller tiltrådt denne protokol, foranlediger landet at følgende medtages i dette bilag: (a) foranstaltninger med særligt sigte på reduktion af emissionen fra mobile og stationære kilder til flygtige organiske forbindelser, som anvendes på nationalt plan eller som led i et forvaltningsområde, hvis landet har fremlagt et forvaltningsområde for flygtige organiske forbindelser til optagelse i bilag III, (b) en værdi for den samlede skønsmæssige emission af flygtige organiske forbindelser for 1990, på nationalt plan eller som led i landets PEMA, (c) et vejledende tal for den samlede emission af flygtige organiske forbindelser for 2010, på nationalt plan eller som led i landets PEMA, og (d) tilhørende skøn over den procentvise reduktion i emissionen af flygtige organiske forbindelser.

c) Bei der Ratifikation, Annahme oder Genehmigung dieses Protokolls bzw. beim Beitritt zu diesem Protokoll werden die Vereinigten Staaten von Amerika Folgendes zur Aufnahme in diesen Anhang mitteilen: (a) spezifische Emissionsminderungsmaßnahmen für bewegliche und ortsfeste Quellen fluechtiger organischer Verbindungen, die entweder auf nationaler Ebene anzuwenden sind oder innerhalb eines PEMA, sofern ein PEMA für fluechtige organische Verbindungen zur Aufnahme in Anhang III mitgeteilt worden ist, (d) einen Schätzwert für die Gesamtemissionen fluechtiger organischer Verbindungen im Jahr 1990, entweder auf nationaler Ebene oder für das PEMA, (c) einen Richtwert für die Gesamtemissionen fluechtiger organischer Verbindungen im Jahr 2010, entweder auf nationaler Ebene oder für das PEMA, und (d) entsprechende Schätzungen der prozentualen Minderung der Emissionen fluechtiger organischer Verbindungen.

c/ Upon ratification, acceptance or approval of, or accession to, the present Protocol, the United States of America shall provide for inclusion in this annex: (a) specific emission reduction measures applicable to mobile and stationary sources of volatile organic compounds to be applied either nationally or within a PEMA if it has submitted a PEMA for volatile organic compounds for inclusion in annex III; (b) a value for total estimated volatile organic compound emission levels for 1990, either national or for the PEMA; (c) an indicative value for total volatile organic compound emission levels for 2010, either national or for the PEMA; and (d) associated estimates of the percentage reduction in volatile organic compound emissions.
