The results indicated that lead concentration in R. mangle organs was below method detection limit (<2.38 μg/g) except the absorbent root (16.3 μg/g); and significant differences exist in the contents of cadmium, copper, zinc, and lead into R. mangle organs, following this concentration order: absorbent roots > stalk > young leaves > adult leaves > aerial roots.

Los resultados indicaron que la concentración de plomo en órganos de R. mangle estuvo bajo el límite de detección del método utilizado (<2.38 μg/g), a excepción de las raíces absorbentes (16.3 μg/g); y que existen diferencias significativas en los contenidos de cadmio, cobre y zinc entre órganos de R. mangle, encontrándose el siguiente orden de concentración: raíces absorbentes > tallo > hojas jóvenes > hojas adultas > raíces aéreas.
