In order to be able to better understand the current demographic changes, family trends and attitudes towards marriage, and social status of one-parent families, the Ministry in charge of family affairs has conducted several researches and there are still some in progress, such as "Factors of Demographic Trends in the Republic of Croatia", "One-parent Families: Personal Experiences and Social Attitudes"; "Attitudes of Employers Towards Professional and Family Engagement of Women", and the researches (in progress) on the subject of "Fundamental Characteristics of Demographic Development of Croatia:

Parmi ces travaux, on peut citer : « Facteurs des tendances démographiques en République de Croatie », « Familles monoparentales : expériences personnelles et attitudes sociales » ou « Attitudes des employeurs vis-à-vis des obligations professionnelles et familiales des femmes » ainsi que les études en cours consacrées aux « Caractéristiques fondamentales de l’évolution démographique en Croatie : bilan du vingtième siècle » et aux « Causes et effets de la stérilité sociale en Croatie ».
