This happy event was held on September 22, 2008 in the presence of the Mrs. Michelle Courchesne, Minister of education, Leisure and Sports Activities, Mr. Maurice Clermont, Minister of Family matters and the Minister in charge of the region of Laval and elected representative of the Mille-Iles region. Also on hand was Mr. Alexandre Duplessis, the official representative of the mayor and town councillor of Mr. Martin Matte, humorist and president of the Martin-Matte Foundation and Governor of the QIF campaign, as well as parents and numerous supporters.
