煙感知器は、外部からの光の進入を抑制し且つ煙の出入りを許容する煙感知室と、煙感知室内の複数の検知領域にそれぞれ光を照射する発光部と、発光部からの直接光は入射せず、それぞれの検知領域に流入した煙による散乱光を受光可能な受光部と、発光部のみを点灯させた時の受光部の出力をもとに煙の有無を判別する判定部とを備えている。 発光部の各々には、検知領域が重ならないように照射光の照射範囲を制限する光制限部材が一体に設けられている。
