Die zu resorbierende Flüssigkeit muß aus der Blutbahn in die Samenkanälchen und von dort durch das Rete in die Ductuli efferentes gelangt sein. Dort wird ein großer Teil von ihr in den Blutstrom zurückbefördert, und zwar durch die Epithelzellen, die diese Kanälchen auskleiden.

The resorbed fluid is one which passes apparently from the blood stream into the seminiferous tubules and hence through the rete into the ductuli efferentes where much of it is reconveyed to the blood stream through the epithelial cells lining these tubules.
