The Special Rapporteur’s interim report to the General Assembly (A/60/221) was very intrusive and completely lacking in objectivity, non-selectivity and impartiality, and went beyond his mandate to examine the situation of human rights in Myanmar and report to the General Assembly and the Commission on Human Rights.
