Heute bringt ihr all das Gott dar, wie die Schnitter, die nach der Ernte die Getreidegarben einbringen und darauf vertrauen, daß das, was sie geerntet haben, von Nutzen sein wird – wie das Brot, das aus Weizen gemacht ist – in der Hoffnung, daß die kommenden Generationen sich von ihm ernähren können.

You bring all of that today and present it as an offering to God, as the reapers do after the harvest, bringing the sheaves of cut grain, trusting fully that what they have reaped will be useful — like bread that is made from grain, in the hope that future generations will be nourished by it.
