Have you not seen the hypocrites who say to their brothers among the People of the Book who have become disbelievers : If you are driven out ( from here ) , we too will necessarily leave with you and will never obey anyone in your case , and if you are attacked , we will most certainly help you ? But Allah bears witness that they are certainly liars .

کیا آپ نے منافقوں کو نہیں دیکھا جو اپنے ان بھائیوں سے کہتے ہیں جو اہل کتاب میں سے کافر ہوگئے ہیں کہ اگر تم یہاں سے نکالے گئے توہم بھی ضرور تمہارے ساتھ ہی نکل چلیں گے اور ہم تمہارے معاملے میں کبھی بھی کسی ایک کی بھی اطاعت نہیں کریں گے اور اگر تم سے جنگ کی گئی تو ہم ضرور بالضرور تمہاری مدد کریں گے ، اور اللہ گواہی دیتا ہے کہ وہ یقینا جھوٹے ہیں ۔
