본 발명은 제연경계용 스크린장치에 관한 것으로서, 그 목적은, 사람의 이동이 가능한 통로 또는 계단 등의 천정에 설치되어 화재 발생시 작동되는 것에 의해 제연스크린이 바닥에 근접되게 구비됨으로써, 유해 가스로부터 인명을 보호가능하도록 한 것에 있으며, 이러한 목적은 천정에 설치되어 화재시 발생되는 유해 가스를 감지하기 위해 구비되는 감지부와, 천정에 일단이 고정되고 타단은 자유단을 갖는 제연경계벽의 일면에 전원인가에 대응되게 걸림용부재가 이동가능하게 고정 구비되는 작동수단과, 상기 제연경계벽에 일단이 고정되고 타단은 작동수단의 구동에 대응되게 걸림 해제가능하게 구비되는 수용부재와, 상기 수용부재에 수용되도록 일단이 고정 연결되어 상기 작동수단의 작동에 대응되게 펼쳐지는 것에 의해 유해 가스의 이동을 차단시키고 피난자의 이동이가능하도록 구비되는 제연용스크린부재와, 상기 감지부로부터 감지되어 인가된 신호에 대응되게 상기 작동수단을 제어하기 위해 구비되는 제어부를 포함하여 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 것에 의해 달성된다.
