Ms. del Águila Castillo (Guatemala) said that recent improved coordination between the United Nations and the Bretton Woods institutions was praiseworthy and should be extended to include intergovernmental forums, including the General Assembly, the Economic and Social Council and the executive directors of the major multilateral financial institutions.
