وبالإشارة إلى المادة 23 من الاتفاقية بصفة خاصة، توصي اللجنة أيضاً بأن تواصل الدولة الطرف برامجها لتحسين إمكانات الوصول المادي للأطفال المعوقين إلى مباني الخدمة العامة، بما في ذلك المدارس، وبأن تستعرض التسهيلات والمساعدات المتاحة للأطفال المعوقين والذين هم في حاجة إلى الخدمات الخاصة، وتحسين هذه الخدمات طبقاً لأحكام الاتفاقية وروحها.

With particular reference to article 23 of the Convention, the Committee further recommends that the State party continue with its programmes to improve the physical access of children with disabilities to public service buildings, including schools, review the facilities and assistance available to children with disabilities and in need of special services, and improve these services in accordance with the provisions and spirit of the Convention.

Eu égard en particulier à l'article 23 de la Convention, le Comité recommande en outre à l'État partie de poursuivre ses programmes visant à améliorer l'accès des enfants handicapés aux bâtiments de services publics, notamment les écoles, de passer en revue les installations et l'aide mises à la disposition des enfants handicapés qui ont besoin de services spéciaux, et d'améliorer ces derniers conformément aux dispositions et dans l'esprit de la Convention.
