A wind-driven electricity generation device is provided with a tower, a nacelle which is mounted on the tower, at least one cable which is suspended within the tower from the nacelle, a protective tube which is mounted to the cable so as to surround the cable, and a cable retention support which is attached to the tower at a position facing the protective tube so as to surround the protective tube.
