By forming fuel gas injection holes, which open and close with the movement of an intake valve rod, in an oval shape, by positioning the fuel gas injection holes within the range of movement of a projecting section disposed on the intake valve rod on the inner peripheral surface of a sleeve, with which the projecting section of the intake valve slidably engages, the injection time of a fuel gas injected in an intake passage is lengthened, thereby promoting the mixing of the fuel gas with air supplied to the intake passage, improving combustion efficiency in a combustion chamber, and improving the fuel consumption rate.

吸気弁棒に設けた突出部を摺動可能に嵌合するスリーブの内周面に前記吸気弁棒の前記突出部の移動範囲内に位置させて、該吸気弁棒の移動に伴って開閉される燃料ガス噴射孔を長円に形成することにより、吸気通路に噴射される燃料ガスの噴射期間を長くして、吸気通路の給気との混合を促進させ、燃焼室内での燃焼効率向上と、燃料消費率の改善を図ることを目的とする。
