In Allgemeinnarkose erfolgt in Seitlage in Fechterstellung zunächst das Debridement des Defekts an der unteren Extremität und die Anschlussgefäßdarstellung, am Unterschenkel präferentiell an der A. tibialis posterior, bei proximalerer Anschlusssituation entsprechend A. poplitea bzw. A. femoralis sowie der Begleitvenen/V. saphena magna.

Under general anesthesia the patient is positioned laterally, and a substantial and meticulous debridement of the defect is performed, as is the identification and preparation of the target vessel, which is preferentially the posterior tibial artery at the calf, or more proximally the popliteal or femoral artery from the medial side as well as concomitant veins/the great saphenous vein.
