Concerning defendants’ statements as part of the investigation or after they have been apprehended, article 132 of the Code of Criminal Procedure provides that defendants shall make a statement during the investigation before the respective Public Prosecution Service official either at their own initiative or when summoned to do so.

De igual forma, al hacer referencia a la declaración del imputado en el marco de la investigación, o una vez que ha sido aprehendido, según el artículo 132 del COPP, el imputado o imputada declarará durante la investigación ante el funcionario o funcionaria del MP encargado de ella, cuando comparezca espontáneamente y así lo pida, o cuando sea citado por el aquel.

De même, eu égard au témoignage du prévenu dans le cadre de l’enquête, ou dès son arrestation, selon l’article 132 du Code organique de procédure pénale, le prévenu témoigne durant l’enquête devant le magistrat du ministère public qui en est chargé, quand il comparaît spontanément et qu’il le demande ou quand il est cité par le ministère public.
