Außerdem, und damit möchte ich beginnen, beglückwünsche ich unseren Kollegen Wolf zu seiner Leistung, denn es ist ihm gelungen, mühsam Formulierungen und Kompromisse zu finden, die zu einer ausdrücklichen Billigung im Ausschuß für soziale Angelegenheiten und Beschäftigung führten, ohne daß in bestimmten Grundsätzen und zentralen Gedanken zum Thema Beschäftigung und Arbeitslosigkeit nachgegeben worden wäre, die die soziale Seite betonen.

Εξάλλου, και από αυτό πρέπει να ξεκινήσω, συγχαίρω το συνάδελφο κ. Wolf για την εργασία που πραγματοποίησε, καταφέρνοντας να καταλήξει επίπονα σε διατυπώσεις και συμβιβασμούς που επέτρεψαν τη ρητή έγκριση στην Επιτροπή Κοινωνικών Υποθέσεων, χωρίς παραχωρήσεις σε ορισμένες αρχές και ιδέες-κλειδιά σχετικά με την απασχόληση και την ανεργία οι οποίες αναβαθμίζουν την κοινωνική πτυχή.

I must begin by complimenting Mr Wolf on his report, and the fact that he managed to reach after much laborious effort a wording and compromises that enabled the report to be resoundingly approved in Committee, without giving ground on any of the principles or key ideas on employment and unemployment which underpin the social aspect.
