The president of the Union of the Italian Missions of the Adventist Church, Pastor Gianluigi Lippolis, in the autumn of 1929, revolted an appeal to the persons in charge of the organization so that in Italy arise a school of formation for the pastors that until that moment brought themselves to Collonges Sous-Sal�ve, Alta Savoia, France, for their formation. Ten years after, july 10 of 1939, in the session of the Executive Committee of the Division held to Berne, came authorized the opening of a school with a cycle of four years of study to Florence.
