يقرر كذلك، آخذا في اعتباره ضرورة ضمان الاستمرارية في تشغيل آلية الخبراء، وعملا بالفقرة 8 من القرار 12/13، أنه في حين تبقى مدة الولاية العادية لأعضاء آلية الخبراء ثلاث سنوات وفقاً للفقرة 6 من قرار المجلس 6/36، تدوم ولاية عضوين من الأعضاء الخمسة المنتخبين في عام 2011 سنتين، وأن تحدد فترات الولاية المتداخلة على أساس قرعة يجريها رئيس المجلس بعد انتخاب الأعضاء الخمسة؛

Further decides, bearing in mind the need to ensure continuity in the functioning of the Expert Mechanism and pursuant to paragraph 8 of resolution 12/13, that, while the regular mandate of the members of the Expert Mechanism shall continue to be three years in accordance with paragraph 6 of Council resolution 6/36, two out of five members to be elected in 2011 shall serve for two years, and that the staggering of the terms of membership shall be defined by the drawing of lots by the President of the Council after the election of the five members;

Decide además, teniendo presente la necesidad de asegurar la continuidad del funcionamiento del Mecanismo de expertos, y de conformidad con el párrafo 8 de la resolución 12/13, que, si bien el mandato ordinario de los miembros del Mecanismo de expertos seguirá siendo de tres años, de conformidad con el párrafo 6 de la resolución 6/36 del Consejo, dos de los cinco miembros que serán elegidos en 2011 desempeñarán sus funciones por un período de dos años, y que el escalonamiento de los mandatos lo definirá por sorteo el Presidente del Consejo después de la elección de los cinco miembros;

Décide en outre, ayant à l’esprit la nécessité de veiller à la continuité du fonctionnement du Mécanisme d’experts et en application du paragraphe 8 de la résolution 12/13, que si la durée normale du mandat des membres du Mécanisme restera de trois ans conformément au paragraphe 6 de la résolution 6/36 du Conseil, celle de deux des cinq membres devant être élus en 2011 sera de deux ans, et que l’étalement des mandats sera arrêté par tirage au sort effectué par le Président du Conseil à l’issue de l’élection des cinq membres du Mécanisme;

постановляет далее, учитывая необходимость обеспечения преемственности в функционировании Экспертного механизма и согласно пункту 8 резолюции 12/13, что, хотя обычный срок полномочий членов Экспертного механизма по-прежнему составляет три года в соответствии с пунктом 6 резолюции 6/36 Совета, двое из пяти членов, подлежащих избранию в 2011 году, будут выполнять функции к течение двух лет и что распределение сроков членства будет определяться по жребию Председателем Совета после избрания пяти членов;
