وكان الغرض من زيارتي هو تقييم الحالة من منظور ولايتي بغية الخروج بفهم أفضل لمشهد العنف الذي تؤججه عوامل عرقية، بما في ذلك خطاب الكراهية والتحريض على العنف ومخاطر أن يؤدي ذلك إلى ارتكاب مزيد من الجرائم الفظيعة بما فيها الإبادة الجماعية.

The purpose of my visit was to assess the situation from the perspective of my mandate in order to better understand the landscape of ethnically fuelled violence, including hate speech and incitement to violence, and the risk that it could lead to further atrocity crimes, including genocide.
