본 발명은 고유한 맥 어드레스를 갖는 고객 단말기를 이용하여 기존 카드 결제 프로세스를 따를 수 있도록 함으로써, 단말기에 대한 제한 없이, 각종 단말기를 이용한 결제가 가능하도록 하며, 고객 단말기의 유효성 인증 강화를 통하여, 고객이 안전하게 결제를 진행할 수 있도록 하는 고객 단말기의 맥 어드레스 정보를 이용한 결제 방법 및 시스템에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 일실시예와 관련된 결제 방법은 고객이 특정 맥 어드레스를 갖는 고객 단말기를 결제 수단으로 발급 요청하는 경우, 결제 관리 서버가 상기 맥 어드레스에 근거한 제1 맥 해쉬값을 생성하는 단계; 상기 결제 관리 서버가 상기 고객 정보와 매핑하여, 상기 제1 맥 해쉬값을 데이터베이스에 저장하는 단계; 상기 결제 관리 서버가 상기 고객 단말기가 생성한 제2 맥 해쉬값을 포함하는 결제 승인 요청 정보를 수신하는 단계; 상기 결제 관리 서버가 상기 제2 맥 해쉬값과 일치하는 상기 제1 맥 해쉬값을 추출하는 단계; 상기 결제 관리 서버가 상기 고객 단말기의 유효성을 인증하는 단계; 상기 고객 단말기의 유효성이 인증된 경우, 상기 결제 관리 서버가 상기 고객 단말기의 맥 어드레스 정보에 근거하여 결제 승인 절차를 수행하는 단계를 포함할 수 있다.
