Table 4 of the report of the Secretary-General indicates that, at the end of 2014 the assets accumulated by United Nations system organizations (just over $2.6 billion) covered only 16 per cent of future after-service health insurance obligations estimated at $16.1 billion, reflecting a funding gap of approximately $13.5 billion.
