وركز الفريق تحقيقاته على تنفيذ نظام عملية كيمبرلي لإصدار شهادات المنشأ، وقانون إصلاح الغابات الوطني وقانون حقوق المجتمع المحلي فيما يتعلق بالأراضي الحرجية، وأداء مبادرة الشفافية في مجال الصناعات الاستخراجية، وكذا مدى إسهام الموارد الطبيعية في إقرار السلام والتنمية والأمن بدلا من العنف وعدم الاستقرار.

The Panel focused its investigations on the implementation of the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme, the National Forestry Reform Law and the Community Rights Law with Respect to Forest Lands, and the functioning of the Liberian Extractive Industry Transparency Initiative (LEITI), as well as the contribution of natural resources to peace, development and security rather than violence and instability.

Le Groupe a enquêté essentiellement sur la mise en œuvre du Système de certification du Processus de Kimberley, sur la loi de réforme du secteur forestier et la loi relative aux droits des collectivités sur les terres forestières, sur le fonctionnement de l’Initiative de transparence des industries extractives au Libéria (LITIE), ainsi que sur la contribution des ressources naturelles à la paix, au développement et à la sécurité plutôt qu’à la violence et à l’instabilité.

В контексте своих расследований Группа сконцентрировала внимание на функционировании Системы сертификации в рамках Кимберлийского процесса, применении в отношении лесных угодий положений Закона о реформировании национального сектора лесоводства и Закона об общинных правах, осуществлении Инициативы по обеспечению транспарентности в добывающей промышленности Либерии (ИТДПЛ), а также на том вкладе, который вносят природные ресурсы с точки зрения обеспечения мира, развития и безопасности, а не насилия и нестабильности.
