ترحب بالانتهاء من جرد 67 عاما من المحفوظات السمعية والبصرية لتاريخ الأمم المتحدة، واعترافا منها بأهمية تلك المحفوظات، تشدد على الحاجة الملحة للرقمنة من أجل الحيلولة دون تعرض هذه المحفوظات التاريخية الفريدة لمزيد من التلف، وتشجع إدارة شؤون الإعلام على إعطاء الأولوية لوضع ترتيبات تعاونية لرقمنة هذه المحفوظات دون أن تترتب على ذلك تكاليف إضافية، وتقديم تقرير عن ذلك إلى لجنة الإعلام في دورتها السادسة والثلاثين.

Welcomes the completion of an inventory of 67 years of United Nations audiovisual history, and recognizing the importance of the audiovisual archives of the United Nations, stresses the urgency of digitization in order to prevent further deterioration of these unique historical archives and encourages the Department of Public Information to prioritize the development of collaborative arrangements for the digitization of these archives in a cost-neutral manner and to report thereon to the Committee on Information at its thirty-sixth session;

Acoge con beneplácito la conclusión de un inventario de grabaciones audiovisuales sobre las Naciones Unidas a lo largo de 67 años y reconociendo la importancia de los archivos audiovisuales de las Naciones Unidas, destaca la urgencia de digitalizar los archivos históricos únicos para impedir que continúen deteriorándose y alienta al Departamento de Información Pública a que dé prioridad al desarrollo de asociaciones de colaboración para digitalizar esos archivos sin costo adicional y que informe al respecto al Comité de Información en su 36o período de sesiones;

Salue l’achèvement de l’inventaire de 67 ans d’histoire audiovisuelle de l’Organisation des Nations Unies, et, consciente de l’importance des archives audiovisuelles de l’Organisation, souligne qu’il est urgent de numériser les archives pour empêcher que des pièces historiques uniques ne se détériorent davantage, et encourage le Département de l’information à mettre en place à titre prioritaire des accords de collaboration aux fins de la numérisation de ces archives sans que cela ait d’incidences financières et à faire rapport à ce sujet au Comité de l’information à sa trente-sixième session;

приветствует завершение инвентаризации аудиовизуальных материалов, отражающих 67‐летнюю историю Организации Объединенных Наций, и с учетом важности аудиовизуальных архивов Организации Объединенных Наций подчеркивает настоятельную необходимость оцифровки с целью предотвратить дальнейшее ухудшение состояния этих уникальных исторических архивов и призывает Департамент общественной информации в первоочередном порядке развивать механизмы сотрудничества для оцифровки этих архивов без увеличения затрат и представить информацию по этому вопросу Комитету по информации на его тридцать шестой сессии;
