본 발명은 원자로 냉각재 펌프의 피동형 질소 주입장치에 관한 것으로, 질소를 공급하는 질소공급부와, 압력에 따라 상기 질소공급부의 질소를 공급제어하는 압력제어밸브와, 상기 압력제어밸브를 통해 공급된 질소를 설정된 압력으로 충진하고, 냉각재 상실 사고의 발생시 충진된 질소를 공급하는 축압기와, 상기 축압기의 질소를 원자로 냉각재 펌프의 실하우징 내부로 공급 제어하는 격리밸브를 포함한다. 본 발명은 축압기를 사용하여 냉각재 상실 사고의 발생시 외부 전원의 공급 없이 축압기의 압력으로 질소를 공급할 수 있도록 함으로써, 안전성을 보다 향상시킬 수 있는 효과가 있다.
