وإذ أحيط علما بالمسائل التي أثيرت في تقرير مراجعة الحسابات، فإنه من دواعي سروري، استنادا إلى مستويات الإيرادات الحالية لصندوق التعويضات وما أعرب عنه مجلس الإدارة من ارتياح إزاءها، أن ألاحظ استمرار التزام حكومة العراق بالامتثال لالتزاماتها بموجب الفقرة 21 من القرار 1483 (2003).

While noting the issues raised in the audit report, based on current levels of income to the Compensation Fund and the Governing Council’s satisfaction therewith, I am pleased to note that the Government of Iraq remains committed to complying with its obligations under paragraph 21 of resolution 1483 (2003).

Si bien no puedo dejar de señalar las cuestiones incluidas en el informe de auditoría, teniendo en cuenta los actuales niveles de ingresos al Fondo de Indemnización y la satisfacción del Consejo de Administración al respecto, me complace observar que el Gobierno del Iraq mantiene el compromiso de cumplir sus obligaciones en virtud del párrafo 21 de la resolución 1483 (2003).
