ترحب أيضا بتصميم الاتحاد الأفريقي على تعزيز قدراته في مجال صنع السلام وعلى اضطلاعه بدور طليعي في حفظ السلام في القارة، وفقا للفصل الثامن من ميثاق الأمم المتحدة وبتنسيق وثيق مع الأمم المتحدة من خلال مجلس السلام والأمن، فضلا عن الجهود الجارية الرامية إلى إنشاء نظام قاري للإنذار المبكر، وتعزيز القدرة على القيام بوساطة، بما في ذلك من خلال إنشاء فريق الحكماء والقوة الاحتياطية الأفريقية؛

Also welcomes the determination of the African Union to strengthen its peacekeeping capacity and to take the lead in peacekeeping in the continent, in accordance with Chapter VIII of the Charter of the United Nations and in close coordination with the United Nations, through the Peace and Security Council, as well as ongoing efforts to develop a Continental Early Warning System, enhanced mediation capacity, including through the establishment of the Panel of the Wise, and an African Standby Force;

Acoge con beneplácito también la determinación de la Unión Africana de reforzar su capacidad de mantenimiento de la paz y de tomar la iniciativa en la labor de mantenimiento de la paz en el continente, de conformidad con el Capítulo VIII de la Carta de las Naciones Unidas y en estrecha coordinación con la Organización, mediante el Consejo de Paz y Seguridad, así como la labor que está realizando con miras a establecer un sistema continental de alerta temprana, aumentar la capacidad de mediación, entre otros medios, con el establecimiento de un grupo de sabios, y crear una fuerza africana de reserva;

Salue la détermination de l’Union africaine de renforcer sa capacité de maintien de la paix et de prendre la direction des activités de maintien de la paix sur le continent, conformément au Chapitre VIII de la Charte des Nations Unies et en étroite coordination avec l’Organisation des Nations Unies, par l’intermédiaire du Conseil de paix et de sécurité, ainsi que les efforts déployés pour mettre en place un système continental d’alerte rapide, une capacité de médiation renforcée, notamment par l’institution du Conseil des Sages et la création d’une force africaine en attente;

приветствует также решимость Африканского союза укреплять свой миротворческий потенциал и играть руководящую роль в поддержании мира на континенте в соответствии с главой VIII Устава Организации Объединенных Наций и в тесном сотрудничестве с Организацией Объединенных Наций через посредство Совета по вопросам мира и безопасности, а также в рамках предпринимаемых усилий с целью создания континентальной системы раннего предупреждения, более эффективного посреднического потенциала, в том числе путем создания Совета мудрецов и Африканских резервных сил;
