تلاحظ القلق الذي يساور العديد من الدول الأعضاء إزاء التدابير التي اتخذتها الأمانة العامة بشأن مراكز الإعلام في مكسيكو، وبريتوريا، وريو دي جانيرو بالبرازيل، وتعرب عن أملها في أن هذه التدابير لن تؤثر تأثيرا سلبيا على قدرة هذه المراكز على مد الجسور بين الأمم المتحدة والجماهير المحلية، وبالتالي تطلب إلى الأمين العام أن يقدم تقريرا عن تأثير هذه التدابير وأن يستكشف سبل تعزيز مراكز الأمم المتحدة للإعلام في القاهرة، ومكسيكو، وبريتوريا، وريو دي جانيرو، مع مراعاة ضرورة القيام بذلك في حدود الموارد المتاحة، وتشجع الأمين العام على استطلاع إمكانية تعزيز مراكز أخرى، وبخاصة في أفريقيا، بالتعاون مع الدول الأعضاء المعنية دون أن تترتب على ذلك تكاليف إضافية؛

Notes the concern of many Member States regarding the measures taken by the Secretariat in relation to the information centres in Mexico City, Pretoria and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, expresses the hope that these measures will not have an adverse impact on the ability of the centres to act as bridges between the United Nations and local audiences, and therefore requests the Secretary-General to report on the impact of these measures and to explore ways to strengthen the United Nations information centres in Cairo, Mexico City, Pretoria and Rio de Janeiro, keeping in mind the need to do so within existing resources, and encourages the Secretary-General to explore the strengthening of other centres, especially in Africa, in cooperation with the Member States concerned and in a cost-neutral manner;

Observa la preocupación de muchos Estados Miembros por las medidas adoptadas por la Secretaría en relación con los centros de información de Ciudad de México, Pretoria y Río de Janeiro (Brasil) y expresa la esperanza de que esas medidas no tengan un efecto negativo en la capacidad de los centros para actuar de puentes entre las Naciones Unidas y el público local, por consiguiente, solicita al Secretario General que informe sobre la repercusión de esas medidas y estudie medios de fortalecer los centros de información de las Naciones Unidas de El Cairo, Ciudad de México, Pretoria y Río de Janeiro, teniendo en cuenta la necesidad de hacerlo dentro de los límites de los recursos existentes, y alienta al Secretario General a que estudie la posibilidad de fortalecer otros centros, en especial en África, en colaboración con los Estados Miembros interesados y sin costo adicional;

Prend note de l’inquiétude manifestée par de nombreux États Membres en ce qui concerne les mesures qu’a prises le Secrétariat au sujet des centres d’information de Mexico, Pretoria et Rio de Janeiro (Brésil), espère que celles-ci n’empêcheront pas les centres de servir de passerelles entre l’Organisation des Nations Unies et les populations locales, et demande donc au Secrétaire général de faire rapport sur les effets de ces mesures et d’étudier les possibilités de renforcer les centres d’information du Caire, de Mexico, de Pretoria et de Rio de Janeiro, en pensant à rester dans les limites des ressources existantes, et engage le Secrétaire général à s’intéresser au renforcement d’autres centres, notamment en Afrique, en coopération avec les États Membres et sans que cela ait d’incidences financières;

отмечает озабоченность многих государств-членов относительно мер, принятых Секретариатом в отношении информационных центров в Мехико, Претории и Рио-де-Жанейро, Бразилия, выражает надежду на то, что эти меры не окажут негативного воздействия на способность центров действовать в качестве каналов связи между Организацией Объединенных Наций и местными аудиториями, и в связи с этим просит Генерального секретаря представить доклад о последствиях этих мер и изучить пути укрепления информационных центров Организации Объединенных Наций в Каире, Мехико, Претории и Рио-де-Жанейро, учитывая необходимость обеспечения этого в пределах имеющихся ресурсов, и рекомендует Генеральному секретарю изучить в сотрудничестве с соответствующими государствами-членами и возможность укрепления без дополнительных затрат других центров, особенно в Африке;
