كما نظر المجلس في حجم مساهمة العراق في صندوق التعويضات في ضوء الفقرة 21 من قرار مجلس الأمن 1483 (2003) التي تنص على أن تودع في صندوق التعويضات نسبة 5 في المائة من جميع صادرات العراق من مبيعات النفط والمنتجات النفطية والغاز الطبيعي بعد تاريخ اعتماد هذا القرار.

The Council considered the level of Iraq’s contribution to the Fund in the light of paragraph 21 of Security Council resolution 1483 (2003), which provides that 5 per cent of all export sales of petroleum, petroleum products and natural gas from Iraq following the date of adoption of the resolution shall be deposited into the Compensation Fund.

El Consejo examinó el nivel de la contribución del Iraq al Fondo de Indemnización teniendo presente lo dispuesto en el párrafo 21 de la resolución 1483 (2003) del Consejo de Seguridad, que dispone que el 5% de todas las ventas de exportación de petróleo, productos derivados del petróleo y gas natural del Iraq que se lleven a cabo a partir de la fecha de aprobación de esa resolución se deposite en el Fondo de Indemnización.
