وقُدم تقرير الأمين العام عملا بالفقرات 4 و 10 و 13 من الجزء الثاني من قرار الجمعية العامة 61/244 الذي طلبت فيه الجمعية إلى الأمين العام أن يقدم تقريرا عن المسائل المتصلة بوضع برنامج توجيهي وتدريبي لأعضاء هيئات الاستعراض المركزية، والجهود الرامية إلى تقصير الفترة المطلوبة لملء الشواغر، واستخدام القوائم التي سبق فرزها.

The report of the Secretary-General was submitted pursuant to section II, paragraphs 4, 10 and 13, of resolution 61/244, in which the Assembly requested the Secretary-General to report to it on matters pertaining to the development of an induction and training programme for the members of central review bodies, the efforts made to reduce the period required to fill vacancies and the use of pre‐screened rosters.

El informe del Secretario General se presenta con arreglo a los párrafos 4, 10 y 13 de la sección II de la resolución 61/244, en que la Asamblea General pidió al Secretario General que le informara de las cuestiones relacionadas con la elaboración de un programa de orientación y capacitación para los miembros de los órganos centrales de examen, de los esfuerzos realizados para reducir el plazo necesario para llenar vacantes, y de la utilización de listas de candidatos preseleccionados.

Le rapport du Secrétaire général a été soumis en application des paragraphes 4, 10 et 13 de la section II de la résolution 61/244, dans laquelle l’Assemblée a prié le Secrétaire général de lui faire rapport sur les questions relatives à la mise en place d’un programme d’orientation et de formation à l’intention des membres des organes centraux de contrôle, aux efforts faits pour réduire les délais d’attribution des postes à pourvoir et à l’usage de fichiers de candidats présélectionnés.

Доклад Генерального секретаря был представлен во исполнение пунктов 4, 10 и 13 раздела II резолюции 61/244, в которых Ассамблея предложила Генеральному секретарю представить доклад по вопросам, касающимся разработки программы вводного инструктажа и обучения для членов центральных контрольных органов, усилий по сокращению сроков заполнения вакансий и использования реестров кандидатов, прошедших предварительный отсев.
