The UNODC has actively participated in the development of two new Conventions (on Transnational Organised Crime and Corruption) that were added to the global armoury to counter those that would seek to exploit the vulnerable, corrupt the weak and undermine the very essence of democratic governance - freedom, choice and self respect.

La ONUDD ha participado activamente en la preparación de dos nuevas convenciones (sobre la delincuencia organizada transnacional y la corrupción) que han venido a engrosar el arsenal mundial dirigido contra los que desearían explotar al vulnerable, corromper al débil y socavar la esencia misma del buen gobierno democrático -libertad, posibilidad de elegir y respeto de sí mismo.

L’ONUDC a pris une part active à la rédaction de deux nouvelles conventions (contre la criminalité transnationale organisée et contre la corruption) qui sont venues s’ajouter à l’arsenal dont on dispose, au niveau mondial, pour lutter contre ceux qui cherchent à exploiter les plus vulnérables, corrompre les plus faibles et porter atteinte à l’essence même des régimes démocratiques: la liberté, le choix et le respect de soi.

ЮНОДК принимало активное участие в разработке двух новых конвенций (о транснациональной организованной преступности и коррупции), которые были включены в глобальный арсенал средств для борьбы с теми, кто стремится эксплуатировать уязвимых, коррумпировать слабых и подорвать сами основы демократического управления – свободу, право выбора и чувство собственного достоинства.
