Amendment by Cristina Gutiérrez-Cortines and María del Pilar Ayuso González Amendment 40 Recital 3 a (new) (3a) Article 6 of the Sixth Environmental Action Programme lays down the priority of establishing the Natura 2000 network and providing the technical and financial instruments and measures needed to bring it fully into effect and to enable the species protected by the ‘Habitats’ and ‘Wild Birds’ directives, and sites of Community interest, to be protected outside the areas covered by Natura 2000; Or. es Justification It is important to draw attention to the pre-existing legislative factors implying a need to add a third component to LIFE+ to cover the Natura 2000 network.

Amendement déposé par Cristina Gutiérrez-Cortines, María del Pilar Ayuso González Amendement 40 Considérant 3 bis (nouveau) (3 bis) L'article 6 du Sixième programme d'action pour l'environnement prévoit, à titre d'action prioritaire, l'établissement du réseau Natura 2000 et des instruments et moyens à la fois techniques et financiers nécessaires à sa mise en œuvre pleine et entière ainsi qu'à la protection, hors zones couvertes par le réseau Natura 2000, des espèces protégées au titre des directives "Habitats" et "Oiseaux", et des sites d'intérêt communautaire.
