أما القانون الأول فهو القانون الأمريكي الرئيسي لمكافحة الاحتكارات، الذي يحظر أي عقد أو احتكار أو مؤامرة تهدف إلى تقييد التجارة فيما بين الولايات أو التجارة الخارجية وأي محاولة لاحتكار هذه التجارة أو أي احتكار فعلي لها.
