The Municipal Council meets at least once a month, the meetings can be regular (with a pre-established agenda) or extraordinary. A meeting can be convened by the chair or deputy chair on their own initiative, upon the request of 1/3 of the municipal councilors, upon the request of 1/5 of the voters, or upon the request of the district governor.
