كما تنص المادة 8 من التعليمات على أنه "إذا قدمت شكوى ضد أحد مأموري الضبط القضائي لإخلاله بواجبات وظيفته أو تقصير في عمله، فعلى عضو النيابة إذا رأى جدية الشكوى أن يستطلع رأي رئيس النيابة كتابة وعلى رؤساء النيابة الرجوع إلى المحامين العامين إذا كانت للشكوى أهمية خاصة وللمحامين العامين بدورهم الرجوع إلى النائب العام".

Article 8 of the Instructions reads, “Where a complaint is made against a law enforcement officer alleging a breach of the duties of his post or failure to perform his work, the member of the Department of Public Prosecutions to whom the complaint is made, if he deems the complaint to be well founded, shall consult his director in the matter.

En el artículo 8 de las Instrucciones se dice que "cuando se presente una denuncia contra un funcionario encargado de hacer cumplir la ley acusándolo de incumplimiento de las obligaciones de su cargo o de no llevar a cabo su trabajo, el miembro del ministerio fiscal al que se presenta la denuncia, si la considera fundada, consultará al respecto a su fiscal jefe.
