ويجري تنفيذ ذلك عن طريق بناء الجدار ليمتد عبر الأحياء الفلسطينية في القدس الشرقية وتصنيف تلك الأحياء التي تقع على الجانب الشرقي من الجدار باعتبارها أحياء تنتمي إلى الضفة الغربية
