وقد أنشأت دولة قطر في سنة 1999 لجنة تسمى ”اللجنة الدائمة لشؤون المخدرات والمسكرات“ تقوم بالتنسيق والتعاون مع الجهات الأخرى المحلية والإقليمية والدولية المعنية بهذا الشأن ومتابعة تنفيذ القرارات والتوصيات الصادرة بهذا الشأن وتقديم تقارير دورية إلى وزارة الداخلية.

In 1999 the State of Qatar set up a committee entitled the Standing Committee for Narcotics and Alcohol which coordinates the work of, and cooperates with, the other local, regional and national bodies concerned, monitors the application of the decisions and recommendations issued in this area and submits periodic reports to the Ministry of the Interior.

En 1999 el Estado de Qatar estableció un comité denominado Comité Permanente sobre Estupefacientes y Alcohol que coordina la labor con otros organismos locales, regionales y nacionales y coopera con ellos en lo que respecta a la supervisión de la aplicación de las decisiones y recomendaciones dictadas al respecto e informa periódicamente al Ministerio del Interior.
