Касаясь соответствующих решений пятьдесят первой сессии Комитета по защите морской среды (КЗМС) ИМО, седьмого совещания Конференции Сторон Базельской конвенции (КС # ) и # й сессии Административного совета МОТ об учреждении Совместной рабочей группы, г-н Сенло подчеркнул, что перед Группой стоит важная задача- служить в качестве платформы для консультаций, координации и сотрудничества в отношении программы работы и деятельности МОТ, ИМО и Конференции Сторон Базельской конвенции по вопросам, касающимся рециркуляции судов
